Women travelers

A destination popular with solo female travelers. Harassment is very rare. Usual vigilance at night in nightlife districts.

LGBTQ+ travelers

Homosexuality is not illegal. Society is moving toward greater acceptance, especially in the big cities. Public displays of affection remain rare in local culture in general.
