Bankomat ATMs everywhere in cities. Some charge 3-5 EUR in fees — favour the banks (Banca Intesa, OTP)

- •A full meal in a kafana (local tavern) costs 6-10 EUR, half the price of Western Europe
- •Belgrade's public transport (bus, tram, trolley) has been FREE since 1 January 2025
- •Rakija and coffee are cheap: a round at a bar won't ruin anyone
- •Upmarket hotels in Belgrade are close to French prices — it's the food and bars that make the difference
Devise : Serbian dinar (RSD)
- •Change your euros at an exchange bureau (menjačnica) in town, never at the airport or the hotel
- •A fair rate is around 117 RSD to 1 EUR: refuse any bureau offering 100-110
- •Keep small notes; many shops can't give change for a large bill

- ⚠Unofficial taxis at Nikola Tesla airport with rigged meters or inflated prices
- ⚠Menus with no prices displayed in the trendy bars of Skadarlija or the centre
