- •Uzbekistan is one of the cheapest countries in Central Asia: a real plov at an osh markazi costs 2-3 EUR.
- •The guesthouses of Bukhara and Khiva often include a hearty breakfast in the price.
- •Haggling over shared taxis is normal: state your price before getting in, never after.
- •Withdraw sums in large notes: 2,000 or 5,000 sum bills pile up fast in your wallet.
